Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Honors High School Seniors

On Saturday May 18, 2019 the Beta Delta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity honored five local high school seniors during a luncheon at the Peninsula Club.

Kevin Beans (Atlantic), Zion Harding (New Smyrna Beach) Tirik Peterson (Spruce Creek) Warren Dmaghio and Wayne Babel (Flagler Palm Coast) received $1000 each with the cost of expenses while attending college in the fall.

According to scholarship Chairperson Shantell Adkins, all of the scholarship recipients have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Alphas have given over $30,000 in scholarships over the last five years.
