Bike Week 2021 attracted well over 300,000 bikers to Daytona Beach during the Corona virus Pandemic. The Black community became a scene of spectators as bikers could be seen enjoying themselves while riding up and down Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard. Crowds of spectators came out to enjoy the food, vendors, music, and custom motorcycles.
The event normally brings about 400,000 to 500,000 bikers to Daytona Beach. While the vendor followed safety methods many people attending the event chose not wear face mask during bike week. The vendors did very well this bike week despite the pandemic.
