Dr. Ronald L. Durham addressed a group of Port Orange residents who gathered on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. day. The group was preparing to walk across the Dunlawton Avenue bridge to honor and pay tribute to the slain civil rights icon. In attendance were David Lewis, the great nephew of the late Civil Rights Icon Congressman John Lewis, Pastor Martin Tolly, and Pastor Greg Hall. Dispite the current civil unrest in America many attendees of the event were hopeful that Dr. Kings dream can be achieved as long as people are willing to come together and stand as one.
The time is always right to do what is right. - Martin Luther King Jr.
