Daytona Beach Fire and Rescue dressed up their truck with plenty of Halloween, decorations as they participated in the city's Truck or Treat event

The city’s Truck or Treat on Sunday began at 5p.m. ending at 8p.m. There were many kids and parents dressed up in Halloween costumes. Vehicles, lined the parking lot of City Hall as residents were able to participate in face painting, vidit a pumpkin patch, and play plenty of games during this community event. The event awarded first, second, and third place prizes in separate divisions for ages 0-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12 and 13-adult for best costume categories.
Participating Truck or Treat organizations included Volusia Hispanic Chamber, Daytona Tortugas, Marine Corps League of Daytona, Purple Heart Chapter 31, Beachside Neighborhood Watch, a club from Latitude Margaritaville and Daytona Beach’s, Fire, Police, and Leisure Services departments.
Daytona Beach City Hall is located at 301 S. Ridgewood Ave. Free parking is available on Orange Avenue and Palmetto Avenue (limited) and behind the shops on Beach Street and then walk to nearby City Hall.
